Springtime nest with Mama Cardinal, Needlefelting workshop

Come to The 3rd Space at Art on Main for a beginner needlefelting workshop. We will make two projects just perfect for spring decorating: a wool nest and a female Cardinal to sit in the nest. You will learn several techniques: creating a simple armature, making tacos, wrapping a figure 8, and furring. If there is time, we will make an egg or two as well. The bird armature we will learn is suited for many other species as well.

There is an additional $10 material fee to be paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.

The FeltingFarmerLady, that’s me. My name is Lee and my tiny humans call me Daisy.

I have a love affair with wool, wool right off the sheep, and turn it into sculptures, hand spun yarns, wearables and weavings.

I even print leaves on wool!
