Landscape Photography: Basics & Beyond

What better landscape photography subject than Highland in October?  This seminar includes opportunities to visit some favorite vistas and find new ones, learn about post-processing, and critique each other’s work.  Class content will be determined by student experience and needs, from basic exposure and composition to advanced techniques such as HDR, panoramic, and slow shutter.  We may even try some astrophotography if conditions are right.  Students should have an adjustable DSLR or mirrorless digital camera, even if you don’t know (or remember!) how to use it to its fullest.  Bring your camera, favorite lenses, tripod, shutter release cable, and laptop with your favorite photo processing program such as Photoshop or Lightroom.  It helps to be familiar with basic digital photography and post processing, but we will all be learning together, so all levels of skill and experience are welcome.
