Felting 101 - Understanding + technique = beautiful creations

This workshop is for beginners or anyone who has tried felting and wants to learn more. There is an addtional $30 supply fee to be paid to the instructor in class. We will spend the morning learning why wool felts as we create basic shapes like a rope, ball and a small piece of cloth. Students will be exposed to wet and dry felting techniques, and different types of wool and embellishments, including silk.  In the  afternoon you will design your own project using the techniques you’ve  been taught. There will be plenty of examples of seasonal decorations you can create, as well as gifts for the holidays, or you can go in a different  direction.
