Beginner Basketry

During this 3 day workshop on August 7-9, 9am-4pm, participants will explore traditional and non-traditional materials used in basket-making with mixed media artisan Judith Saunders.  This is an opportunity for beginning basket weavers to explore a variety of materials, techniques, and designs. You may then choose to spend your three days creating one larger, more involved basket or you may choose to create several smaller baskets. The choice will be yours. Judith will provide all the  tools necessary to complete your baskets during the workshop. The most important items for you to bring are enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
