Basketry

During this 3 day workshop on August 15 - 17 9am-4pm, participants will explore traditional and non-traditional materials used in basket-making with mixed media artisan Judith Saunders.  Whether you are making your first basket or you are an experienced weaver, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of materials, techniques, and designs. You may then choose to spend your three days creating one larger, more involved basket or you may choose to create several smaller baskets. The choice will be yours. If you are an experienced weaver and have your own tools you may bring and use them. If you are a new weaver, Judith will provide all the  tools necessary to complete your baskets during the workshop. The most important items for you to bring are enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment.
